Gifts that Give Back 2017

So I figured this year I'd do something a little different for the holidays and only buy presents that gave back to a good cause. While searching for as many gift ideas as I could I found a lot of great companies that gave back. Here are a few of my favorites:

1. Faucet Face - Not only are these glass water bottles adorable but with every 1 bottle purchased it helps to provide a minimum of 100 liters of clean water to families in India.

2. Out of Print Clothing - This site offers not only cute little pins but also t-shirts and tote bags featuring some classic books. Each purchase helps to fund literacy programs and book donations to communities in need.

3. Ten Thousand Villages - From candles to coffee mugs this store is full of gifts. Every purchase made improves the lives of the makers by supporting their craft and providing a fair, stable income.

4. Global Goods Partners - Another store offering a wide range of gifts from stuffed toys to jewelry. Every purchase made from here has the power to lift women out of poverty and bring lasting positive change to artisans and their families around the world.

5. Me to We -  This site probably has my personal favorite selection of jewelry, especially the chokers. Every purchase gives a life changing gift to a child or family in need from school supplies to health care.  They also have this pretty neat tool called the "Track your Impact Tool" that you can use to get a look into where your gift was delivered and how it transform a life. Awesome right?!

6.Parks Project - If you know someone who enjoys hiking this is definitely a good place to pick them up a gift. Every product that is purchased from this sight contributes directly to one of over 30 different conservancies across the United States and provides vital funding for the ongoing care of National Parks.

7. Conscious Step - Know anyone that loves socks? the money from these socks goes to different charities such as giving books to school children in Asia, giving safe water to someone in need or raising awareness around the issue of poverty.

8. Krochet Kids - Adorable hats for kids and beanies for women and men. This company provides life-changing job opportunities to women in need. They even let you learn a little more about each woman that made the product you purchased through her online profile.

9. Bravelets - 10% of every purchase gets donated to the cause of your choice. Which is great because you get to decide what you support!

10. Cuddle and Kind - The sell adorable hand knit dolls as well as inspirational print art. Every product you purchase will provide meals to children in need.

And lastly for those of you Amazon addicts (like myself) you can always do your gift shopping through Amazon Smile and 5% of each purchase goes to a charity of your choice!

Happy gifting and spread the love!

XOXO
